What an interview that was by Evatt.
Take a bow son.
link please?
Would love oblige but the technology to do that is beyond me I’m afraid. It was at the end of the sky coverage - maybe YouTube could assist?

Bertie Wooster/ Peter Thompson not joining the celebrations? Couldn't shut the c*nt up last week. 🤣💦🍆 (_!_)
Don’t blame them. fecking shambles that team. To go from 19th and only reach 3rd in 3 1/2 months is simply not acceptable. No desire. No fight. No passion. Can’t kill a game off. The players and Evatt should hang their heads in shame

Got whipped away at the end for something mundane (like tea) but had a big grin nevertheless. Fantastic , and I can claim to never ever being a doubter. Well done the Whites. Deserve manager of the season and team of the season awards hands down. I hope Gilks get the credit he deserves for his part in our promotion. Well done all at the Unibol...

Gilks has to be player of the season and he said he wants to play on next season. I’d not say no tbh.

When asked if he always considered former blackpool teammate evatt to be manager material...
'No, probably the last out of our squad!'

I really like Gilks. Just strikes me as an old fashioned honest footballer. No nonsense, no messing. He’s been pivotal. I suspect that he will start next season. His leadership on the pitch is very good. Probably need a few more characters like him in the squad. Very important though we have a younger proficient keeper who becomes first choice over time.

Sonic's kettle. Went missing occasionally, but there when it was needed.

Coming down a bit now. That’s two promotions we’ve coasted on the final day. A very odd feeling!

Thomason was magnificent - we did not miss Keiron Lee one jot today. Sarce man of the match, but issy and Dapo massive as well.

Absolutely tremendous. Never been prouder to be a Wanderer.

Big love to all you lot on here. Watching Bolton on my iPad and bickering on this forum helped get me through those interminable lockdowns. Enjoy your evenings all!

Absolutely. There was this one play, possibly the sequence of the day for me, about 75 minutes or so in which saw us stroke it about to each other absolutely gloriously. Sadly it culminated in a powder puff 'shot' by Dapo into their keeper's arms from the edge of the box. Anyway, the point I'm making is that this entire move was started by an utterly incredible tackle by Thomason just in front of left back. I'm not sure anyone picked up on it, but it truly was a moment of absolute perfection.

Who played the diagonal ball to Dapo for the third? Thomason or MJ? It was absolutely superb whoever it were.

For the third? Have you been drinking? :-)
