I will say though, that was awful defending from Exeter not to clear that squared ball to Paris

All of this but the ball from Thomasson is another level….Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Mar 09, 2024 3:36 pmCollins dropping out of the 10 hole, Sheehan into the gap he created, cutting it back for an 8 rather than Bod at 9 - nothing about that was obvious, everything about it was practiced. Quite quite marvellous.

Can see what we're trying to do with the passing between the back three here. Switching it drags their players out of position and we end up waiting for the opportunity to take advantage.

Bet Sheehan's arse was twitching then when he went through the back of their lad. No wonder he threw both arms up.

Quick shout out to the ref, who after 40 minutes hasn't made any questionable decisions. Perhaps an easy match to ref, but he's done a good job so far.

Lovely free kick routine almost paying off. Deserved more for that.

I know what we think happens when this sort of thing is typed, but after 41 minutes at Blackpool, Pompey are yet to have an attempt on goal.

Lovely from Bod, that. You can't give him that much time with runners off him, even if he was slightly in our half.

I know what you mean. I'm looking at both the Barnsley and Pompey scorelines and have very little expectation that it'll stay in our favour.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote: ↑Sat Mar 09, 2024 3:43 pmI know what we think happens when this sort of thing is typed, but after 41 minutes at Blackpool, Pompey are yet to have an attempt on goal.

We're really good to watch when we play like this, although I'd love to see some variety with the delivery in once we get in behind; it surely doesn't have to be drilled hard and low every time.

Been sublime but really wish we had a second goal.

Am trying not to let the worry mount, there. 1-0 better than 0-0.
