Even they were disappointing.

I've never seen any team put in less effort than that.

They were
Very meek boos
A lot had fecked it off and gone downstairs
Sharon will get some shit from about an hour when we continue to stroll around at santos pace

Yeah if we stop tackling them like 4 year olds in a school yard, then maybe the dicks wouldn't concede so many free kicksnicholaldo wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2025 3:50 pm
I think it's more likely just a reflection of playing so many misplaced passes and being second to everything.

I'm glad we ran into the tunnel at half-time.
It's vital, that.

Oh, totally agree. We've been terrible. Usually we'd have a referee that thinks i'm giving too many and then ease off a bit but every slight foul is given against. So clumsy.nicholaldo wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2025 3:50 pm

Ha, yeah, we run in every HT. Shame we don't run as much when we need to defend.nicholaldo wrote: ↑Sat Jan 18, 2025 3:55 pmI'm glad we ran into the tunnel at half-time.

We've got a chance here, but it looks like we're gonna lose it rather than win it.

Came to this one. Wish to god I hadn’t. It’s alternating between toxicity and arguments in the stands and dead silence. Also massive gaps everywhere that are normally full of ST holders.
We can win the game but Sharon please, to have let it come to this, it really is criminal.

Do we sprint down the tunnel to squeeze an extra Hail Mary in?

Our defending as a unit has been dogshit for a fair old chunk now. It gets obfuscated when we're flat tracking teams who stand off from us. Do defenders make tackles - yes, do they make enough of the right ones - no. And all the while we sign fcuking tiaras. Coz obviously, if we have the ball nowhere near our goal, then they can't score - except when they do.
Fcuking laughable.

We're a miles better team than this showing.
This type of performance is symptomatic of Evatt's teams as of late. Reminds me of Evatt's early days.

A few are saying that Evatt sneaked down the tunnel just before the HT whistle and got some boos from a section of the fans & then mouthed 'fcuk off' to them - not a good look.

I think since blaming the players last week he's lost the dressing room, can't think of anything else that would explain that lack of effort.

The thing is despite it all we'll probably go on and win it.
