It's a jungle out there. But in part, this is why strategy is a wonderful aspiration but not necessarily something that's easy to deliver at ground level and the teams that make the cut, staying up or getting that second automatics slot are often the ones making tactical decisions that give them the edge, rather than doubling down on Plan A. I think it's called pragmatism.
