Bradford could be one of those surprise teams. Pressure off - big home crowds - look like they are investing a bit. Wouldn’t shock me. Not unlike Stockport this season.

All things are possible in an an infinite universe. But when Stockport went up (as 92pt champions) they won 12 away games and drew 6; their 42pts on the road was the division's best total. Last season Bradford snuck up on the last day, having gained just 23pts (W5 D8) on the road - the division's 16th-best total. That would take one hell of a turnaround – not to mention that well-bankrolled Stockport also signed about a dozen players last summer.

Would be a decent Sonny Carey replacement for Blackpool, this. Darren Witcoop says Huddersfield were interested but it looks like Blackpool wanted him more.

And, for all his faults, a pretty decent manager too. I'm quite jealous of the business they've done. They should be up their challenging given the probable outlay on fees and wages.

Everyone has to play each other twice. The order can impact but I suspect not too much. Can be good playing some of the stronger sides early before they settle or could be the same said of playing us.
