It may have gone under the radar, unless I missed reading it on here, but Plymouth have signed Amaechi from Magdeburg. Remember him?

They're also losing Rami Al Hajj, a Swedish midfielder (how curious!) signed last year. Look where Baidoo was signed from too...

Aye. Fan reaction seems to be divided between "Trust Tom" and a few fearing double relegation.

But then, we've absolutely no room to talk on deeply divided fan hysteria...

Oh OK - Stockport break their record (£800,000 on Ian Thomas-Moore in 1998!) to sign Mothersille from Posh.

Looks like Plymouth have signed Brendan Wiredu, mentioned as a Wanderers target over the years...

With Stockport striker Tanto Olaofe moving Charlton at the same time.

Yeah, slightly surprised by that purchase - though Olaofe top-scored with 20 as Stockport went up, he then 'only' scored 8 in 42 League One games last season, so it's not like he was screaming to be moved upwards. Mothersille scored 12 in 45 for Posh, who finished a lot lower (although TBF only scored four fewer as a team). I think they've done well here, Stockport, particularly selling Olaofe for a reported £1.5m and not spending all that (reports suggest £900k-£1m) on Mothersille, who's four years younger.

Mothersille is a good player. Very recently called up to the Jamaican National Team squad and given a game where he looked lost on the field. Looks a good prospect however and very young at 21. Gave Bolton hell when we last played Peterborough. A good signing for Stockport who will be very competitive this season. A very tough opening game for us at their home.

Another of Orient’s best players, Ethan Galbraith, to go.

For that kind of money they could have had Sheehan!

For that kind of money, we'd thrown Randall and McAtee too!

Barnsley have signed a bloke who's nearly 38. He's bound to score against us, though, given it's David McGoldrick.

More ominously, Luton have made what I'm journalistically obliged to call a 'triple swoop' for three players mentioned on here before: Nahki Wells (striker, Bristol City, free), Hakeem Odoffin (centre-back, Rotherham POTY, free) and Schuey's old mate Nigel Lonwijk (centre-back, Wolves, loan). Their fans have reacted with a range of emotions from "hand over the title now" to "you do realise we've got £40m PL money to spend, you tightarses?"

Some interesting reactions from Blackpool fans around their signing of Ennis:

"He's got glass ankles"
"The treatment room is gonna be busy"
"Couldn't hit a cow's aris"

Some slightly more positive, but not the coup we might have thought had he come to us.
Uma mesa para um, faz favor. Obrigado.

Getting out of L1, we need players who might have a lower "ceiling," but can get us out of L1. A sack full of pussies will keep us in L1, when they manage a worldie every 10 games. I wouldn't want, for example Sadlier as a core of my 11, but soneone who changes the game, then maybe, if you're not too dogmatic. Baka was allegedly not good enough, but his goals changed points.

Job 1. Stop the champ man delusion.
Job 2. Get promoted, with a solid team.
