Thierry Gale isn't in the squad.
Be catching up with fitness I suspect.

Taylor playing left back. Definitely a 4-2-3-1.

Wanderers Youtube feed is annoyingly reversed.

They have fixed the mirroring. The 'Wanderers TV' logo is upside down in the bottom corner, which would be a lot more humorous if we were playing an Australian team rather than a South African side.

Seems like both sides are nullifying each other. We had a good 10 minutes, lately it seems more like we're a bit lackadaisical on our passing.

Their left side seems to be their best outlet. Number 38/28 can't remember which, has been standing out.

We've had the best chance which was a half chance with us heading over from just inside the box after a bit of head tennis. Not much in it.

Big Dave up top seems to be ambling around. The physicality of his impressive debut seems to have gone. Not entirely sure this is as a result of the friendly nature of the match or the lack of willingness to look aggressive. Either way, I don't think he's touched the ball.

Highlight so far was a bit of dribbling on the left side with either Taylor or CMG, I'm guessing CMG.

Inwood looks good, Abimbola less so.

Set piece, flick on, Warren taps it past the keeper.

Set piece training seems to be paying off. 1-0 to Bolton.

We lead! Charlie Warren knocking it in after we won the first header from a free-kick.

1-0! Warren. And from a set piece too.

Doesn't really reflect the run of play.

Tend to disagree. Game's seemed fairly even, neither side having great opportunities. We've not had a lot of the ball, but we've intercepted or tackled in areas we've needed to.

Taylor's done alright at left back. Not seen an awful lot from our front four, but they've not been given a lot to work with. CMG showed the most spark, backheeling into JDC's path when under pressure.

Decent performance. 1-0 at the break.

We look a lot more compact at the back and we're dropping into a defined shape which is denying them any space, although there's a hint of the Freedman stylee 'letting them have the ball'.

Like most pre season games, there won't be much we can take from it, but I'm happy we're looking a lot more solid unit out of possession.

We looked much better after the water break. Hopefully that's a good sign given the coaches managed to have a word.

Not seen any of it sadly but I wonder if Warren will be a surprise package this season? Heard from a few round the club that there is a lot of talk about him internally.

Complete change for the second half. Sharples-Ahmed and Hutchinson the only ones left on the bench.

Apparently the goalkeeper is Nathan Broome, which is a great name for a sweeper keeper.

If I'm not much mistaken, that's a 4-4-2 with Lawrence and McAtee up top.

Dodgy keeper moment alert. Keeper praising the defender and completely misses Johnston's return pass. Looked like a pass Johnston didn't need to make, but it was an interesting moment.

Not really a threat, but just one to raise the eyebrows.

Another dodgy moment from George Johnston at the back. First game back, hopefully its just him being rusty.

Ball just keeps rolling on that pitch, doesn't it. Johnston caught out but they were unable to capitalise.

I’m fairly certain that was Conway rather than Johnston.
