Never understood the GT disliking. Always gives 100% every game.

Do wonder who the twitter divs will move onto when he does go.

That energy is going to take some replacing.
They'll find someone - they always do.

Oh they’ll find somebody to target DJ, you can bet your last penny on it.

There's a difference between not massively rating someone as a player, and actively disliking them. I feel like the internet tends to make people express mild footballing aversion as outright hatred.

I'm certainly not Thomason's biggest fan as a player, and would be reasonably confident that he won't be a success a level up, but he's obviously a good kid who's absolutely made the most of his abilities, and I have to respect that.

Parkinson doesn’t get many wrong and it’s the second million plus bid from the level above.

Like it or not he’s a far better player than Morley and Sheehan particularly as you move up levels. The athleticism is why he’s good and the ground he covers.

Athleticism? For me, a severe lack of that is the main thing that will hold him back.

Harsh/presumptuous on Morley, IMO. I think he's a much better passer than Thomo and I'm intrigued to see how he gets on under Schumacher after a promising season of post-Evatt reset, with Wycombe and us. Evatt wanted him as a quarterback but he's impressed me in a busier role.

I think last (half) season, Morley was measurably the best of the three.

I imagine there's a WAFC-Ynsaen out there losing their mind.

"£1.2m for a player who has only played more than 20 games in a season above L2 once, a walking yellow card with no right foot who struggles under pressure. The board have backed us financially but how do they expect us to compete signing these lower-league journey men".
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

I hope their Board listen to that fellow and change their mind.

I think he’s decent to a point but as you move up the lack of mobility will hurt more and more.

I’m not unhappy with Morley at least for now but I do think ultimately to get out of this league we will need someone who is more like Thomason. Ideally with a bit more physicality.

Answering my own earlier question, the other keeper on trial is Tyler Miller.

Cheers. 6ft4in Noo Joisey-born 32-yr-old who's spent most of his 200-game career Stateside, bar a brief dip into German lower leagues in 2015 and a recent six-week dalliance with Notts County. I did not have him on my bingo card.

Ha. Certainly fits the experienced bill I was thinking of.

Miller and Broome sounds like a high-end furniture manufacturer.

There's some Bolton fans getting excited about signing Josh Windass, but Darren Witcoop thinks Deano's lad has options in the Champo - not least Wrexham.

There is someone on this planet who goes by the name of Darren Witcoop? I've heard it all now.
