Bench puts in a good post and with the Sammy Lee connection I just feel that we have not heard the last of this.

I think people are making far too much of the 'Liverpool' connection in all honesty. We'll be after Robbie Fowler next.

Bolton born and bred and proud of it, season tkt holder for too many years that I can remember and seen us through all 4 divisions, I do like Liverpool though, I grew up watching them win everything and that has stuck with me, when we sign anybody from Liverpool, if it is from Peter Thompson to El Hadji Diouf I know we are getting quality.

No they don't. They have had some fantastic players, but not all of them. Traore was shite.

As for Liverpool 'producing quality footballers', who beyond Gerrard and Carragher in the last few years have they produced? And the jury is still out on Guthrie!

no need to lighten up...

just don't over generalise that all Liverpool players are quality just because they have played for Liverpool
