HALF TIME: Wanderers one up at the break and they probably deserve it on balance of play. Sean Davis has again been impressive, spreading the play, and goalscorer Sam Ricketts has been excellent.

37mins: Taylor drills a shot straight at the keeper after a speedy counter attack. Wanderers look in good nick with the ball the moment.

in good nick with the ball???? RFicketts and Davis picked out for their contribution....
We often look in good nick WITH the ball - it's when we try to pass it to someone else that it all falls down....

57mins: Bad defending from Den Bosch on the edge of their own box allows Elmander to slip Taylor in on goal, and the winger cross unselfishly from the angle for Kevin Davies to tap home.

another Elmo assist.... (or rather - reading it again - assisting the assister - in a kind of deputy assistant role!)

Either way it didn't read as Al Habsi punt + Davo header - which is promising. Got to remember that Den Bosch were half way up the Dutch equiv of the Fizzy Pop League last season though..

Just looking at "how to get promoted" from the Dutch second tier - it's all a bit bizarre.

They play 6 "periods" of 6 matches (within a season of 38 matches in total). The team that finishes top each period qualifies for a play-off spot along with the two best placed teams that didn't "win" one of the period competitions. The top team is promoted regardless. I think you could, theoretically, finish bottom and get promoted....

True, it's bizarre ... I think it was MVV Maastricht, who despite an ordinary season last year, were a play-off game away from being promoted.

either
He's still knackered from keeping us up on his own for two seasons.. or match fitness isn't much of an issue for goalies and we don't want to break him against Hollands answer to Plymouth Argyle
Are we in League 2 yet - Three seasons and we'll be away to Chesham
