I don't know if that would work out.
... and again ?!?!?!
Lol... I'm just going on what I've heard here , I'm not saying he should be appointed by any means. Although again personally I feel anyone would be better than Dowie,Irvine etc.

The thought of Irvine,Dowie and Sturrock doesn't give me the same confidence.
I think the main problem is that he's been out of the game for so long that, should he take up a position now, he'd be outdated and completely lost.

And, of course, there's the small matter of him having one of the biggest set of piss-can teams who ever kicked a ball in anger and a few dodgy brown envelopes...

Wait a cotton-pickin' minute.

You join this forum TODAY and in your first 5 or 6 posts have suggested 'Arry Bassett and George Graham as potential managers.

You're Gary Megson aren't you !?!?!?

Determined to finish the job you started. You'll take us down, one way or the other won't you.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

LOL

I'm on no wind up, I already explained I joined today to discuss the sacking. It's not my fault people laugh at Graham who has won league titles and yet go home and have a wank over Irvine, Jewell and Iain f-ucking Dowie.

Is anyone else actually scared?

As much as Megson wasn't liked, he had this feeling that he'd lose 10 games then suddenly we would win a few and...y'know, it'd be alright in the end.

I dunno, I'm still glad the club has dealt with all this nastiness, but this is f*cking scary isn't it?

Or do people feel exhilerated, free and hopeful for the future?

i'm a bit scared - cos if we appoint someone shit - then there isn't a "xxxxx out!" to fall back on - it's actually quite a big moment in the club's history....

but surely we can't feck it up THREE times in a row????

which was the last club to have three utterly crap managers in a row? (not including newcastle!)

i guess we should just be thankful we've had 2 'bad managers' and we are still in the top flight?

as for the future, in 5 years i reckon we'll look back at now and it won't seem quite so bad

Total control now. Tooling along the main drag on a Saturday night in Bolton. Two good old boys in a fire-apple red convertible. Stoned. Ripped. Twisted. Good people.
