Megson Out - Who Next?

Lol... I'm just going on what I've heard here , I'm not saying he should be appointed by any means. Although again personally I feel anyone would be better than Dowie,Irvine etc.bobo the clown wrote:... and again ?!?!?!jay180 wrote:One of my mates is sure Dave Bassett is on our target list. He claims Bassett is looking to get back into football after leaving Leeds a while ago and that he has made it known he is interested in the job. Supposedly he has known Phil well since the late 80s.
I don't know if that would work out.

I think the main problem is that he's been out of the game for so long that, should he take up a position now, he'd be outdated and completely lost.jay180 wrote:I dont see what the problem with Graham is.. He is a very good manager and has won many trophies.
The thought of Irvine,Dowie and Sturrock doesn't give me the same confidence.
And, of course, there's the small matter of him having one of the biggest set of piss-can teams who ever kicked a ball in anger and a few dodgy brown envelopes...

You're Gary Megson aren't you !?!?!?
Determined to finish the job you started. You'll take us down, one way or the other won't you.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.

I'm on no wind up, I already explained I joined today to discuss the sacking. It's not my fault people laugh at Graham who has won league titles and yet go home and have a wank over Irvine, Jewell and Iain f-ucking Dowie.

Is anyone else actually scared?
As much as Megson wasn't liked, he had this feeling that he'd lose 10 games then suddenly we would win a few and...y'know, it'd be alright in the end.
I dunno, I'm still glad the club has dealt with all this nastiness, but this is f*cking scary isn't it?
Or do people feel exhilerated, free and hopeful for the future?

i'm a bit scared - cos if we appoint someone shit - then there isn't a "xxxxx out!" to fall back on - it's actually quite a big moment in the club's history....FD wrote:Is anyone else actually scared?

Total control now. Tooling along the main drag on a Saturday night in Bolton. Two good old boys in a fire-apple red convertible. Stoned. Ripped. Twisted. Good people.Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:I've written an article on the candidates, it should be up on the front page as soon as one of the admins can check and upload it.
Why would Mark Hughes come? To clear his name, I suppose.
