Lee Chung-Yong ... N-West Premier Player of the Year
http://www.clicklancashire.com/sport/bo ... award.html

Aren't Liverpool Admin' after buying him ???Bolton Wanderers midfielder Lee Chung-Yong has beaten rivals from his more illustrious neighbours to scoop the North West Premier League Player of the Year.
Lee landed the gong at a glittering awards ceremony at the Lancashire Cricket Club last night.
The South Korean beat Wayne Rooney, Carlos Tevez and Everton left- back Leighton Baines.
Lee was unable to collect his prize in person because of international commitments so his boss Owen Coyle received the trophy on Lee’s behalf.
Coyle said: “He’s had a great year and I believe he will only get better.
“But we have to be careful with him. He’s played for nearly two years without a break. It’s been a big ask but he’s been outstanding for me. All credit to him.
“I had seen him from the outside looking in.
“But you don’t know how good they are until you see them for yourself.
“Hopefully, we can keep guiding him, the right way so he continues to improve.”

Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

I'm confused.
Two Bolton players are in the England squad, and our brightest young talent (arguably) has received region-wide recognition for his efforts, despite being up against players from Manchesters C and U.
I can't get my head around this. What's happening? What changed?

you'll wake up tomorrow and find that neither KD nor Cahill got to play - and that the award was meant for park ji-sung, but they got their Koreans mixed up....

Seems the press have moved on to other targets (or the same on in Big Sam's case). We're no longer perceived (completely) as being a team of foreign mercenaries only prepared to kick lumps out of the opposition and lump the ball up to the big man.
All this came about when Jack Wilshere joined us, became a man and went back to Arsenal to show them what a real midfielder looks like.
So you see we have Arsene Wenger to thank. And Big Sam for leaving us.

on a phone in the other day I heard a caller - sharing his wisdom about KD's england call up - describe our Kevin as a "mercenary clogger"
