I'm with LK. Maybe after years of substandard full backs, we're happy with two perfectly adequate ones. Maybe we just hold a differing opinion to the vocal masses. Who knows?

Not if we lose five on the trot!!!

But I agree. That side picks itself so far. With both full backs the most vulnerable.
It's not necessarily what I'd pick, but it's what Coyle will.

As for Steinsson thought he was poor against Wigan and Stoke, but much much better than some of the shite we've had there recently. Robbo I wouldn't describe as particularly vulnerable, mainly because Alonso looks nowhere near being ready, and JLloyd is, well, wank.

Don't rate Robinson. We don't have a better left back at the club though. Unless you play a right-back-who's-better-at-centre-half there, and I don't really see that as an option. Because he's a far better centre half than fullback, mostly.

Certainly seems that way so far. Never looked convincing at right back. Cahill-Ricketts would be interesting.

personally id like to see 4 defenders 2 def midfielders 1 attacking midfield 2 wingers and 1 striker.
but we have no one who can play def midfield other then muamba so our defense is going to be torn apart by stevie..

Times Football podcast was talking us up for this game. People are expecting us to do them. Utterly bizarre.

I thought Ricketts looked decent on the left for a couple of games last season, but he is a monster and Centre back. Shame he can't actually play in his natural position.

I still think that Gardner is the best left back at the Club, but I fear we may not see him figure again, alas !!

Just read on SSN Sean Davis is back for this one, do you think he'll be used? Might be a bit off the pace and I quite like Mavis off the bench, can't see Muamba and Holden being split up cause theyve done a good job so far...

Not a chance. He can play in the reserves for a fortnight before coming back into the firsts. Who is Mavis?

Keep the same team as against Wigan, and end it similarly (though hopefully with Steinsson out for Ricketts.....and Taylor not getting a game).

Mavis = Mark Davies I assume!
Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED

Is it just me, or has Marky D bulked up a bit lately?
