Congratulations and supporting from Madrid!!
Hello all...
I registered myself in this forum when we both Atlético and Bolton W played that UEFA cup round in february 2008. It was a hard round, maybe not beautiful football but nice fight. Since that, i ve been supporting Bolton... why? Because I like humble, brave and proud teams and supporters, and despite the fame here in continent of "violent english supporters", almost all of you that were in Madrid gave a lesson of fair play and enjoying the game!!
So, I want to give you CONGRATULATIONS for the amazing season you are doing, and I hope and wish we´ll fight again next season, this time in CHAMPIONS LEAGUE.
Long life to Trotters and Atlético de Madrid!!!

Not really their fault was it?hisroyalgingerness wrote:I was actually wearing my Bolton-~Madrid scarf yesterday. Your police are still a set of c*nts though, and I have a poor opinion of Atletico as a result
I seem to recall their 'ultras' got chased out of the stadium before the be-uniformed bastards started on us!
Anyway AdM thanks for the support and good luck to you too!

I know what you mean. Conversely I follow AEK Athen's results now as I bumped into a bunch of them the day of our game. Think they were playing Real the next day. Nice guys.

probably my least favourite of all European aways, but that may have been the company? more concerned the sights and touring the bernabeu than getting sotted! pissed me off, one of them by association things...Gary the Enfield wrote:hisroyalgingerness wrote:I know, but it's one of them "by association" things, and unfortunately my memories of the place have been shaped by thugs
