1. Have Bolton exceeded your expectations this season as you sit close to the Champions League places during the festive period?
We are doing far better than we really felt was possible, the cloud of Megson seems to be blowing away faster than thought. The downside that will hit us someday is Owen Coyle unlike our last succesfull gaffer Big Sam WILL move onto bigger things.
2. What are your expectations for this season? Have they changed from the beginning of the season?
Top ten was the aim, actually a top eight failure would be slightly dissappointing now after the transformation we've seen
3. What has been the big difference between this season's performances and last?
Megsons sacking
4. Who do you think is your most important player(s)?
This season Holden
5. Your worst player(s)?
Some of our defenders get that vote for switching off to often
6. Do you have a particular memory of any previous meeting between our clubs? Days to remember and days to forget?
The drubbing at Anfield we got was the worst ever, the best, Peter Thompson testimonial at Burnden
7. Any young up and coming players in the squad that we might not know about?
None spring to mind outside the first team squad
8. What sort of line-up will Coyle put out against us and how will he approach the trip to Anfield?
He'll try to win be in no doubt, draws to Coyle are defeats

9. Do you have any favourite/best chant(s) and perhaps any that require an explanation?
None are so subtle

10. Where do you expect Bolton and Liverpool to finish in the Premier League?
Top Ten with us in front of you hopefully

11. Which Liverpool player will you fear the most?
Usual suspects although for the life of me I cannot fathom why a player as good as Gerrard feels the need to cheat

12. And finally, care to predict the score?

Hopefully 0-1

Cheers for the responses lads much appreciated.

I'd be happy to return the favour anytime.

As stated above I can't guarantee an abuse free thread on RAWK but with a site of 30k members your always going to get a few who enjoy shooting their mouths off - I've been on the end of it a few times myself ;)

Friendly banter is one thing and I'll do my best to keep things sensible on there.

After just reading some stuff on RAWK, I think the fans on there have been quite complimentary to Bolton. Maybe not so pleasant after saturday though? Happy new year, and here's hoping for a very entertaining game.

I think it's more to do with the fact they have nothing to crow about any more, so they feel like garnering respect before setting us up for the vitriol tomorrow/next season/the next time they're above average.

I hope I'm wrong, but Modern Football Fandom - particularly when talking Big Red Club - is as predictable as it is soul-destroying.

One thing we won't disagree about; it's been one of the most upside-down seasons for a long time. Not long back playing us at Anfield would have seemed like a walk in the park. We've moved on since then. We're not the Bolton you knew.

Damn right. What with the Big Clubs (TM) not being as dominant as before, they've not had the chance to sneer and lord it over everyone else. Even their pantomime villains have given them no chance to sneer and lord (even though the debt has given them half a moral bone, quickly dismissed when presented with their own balance sheets). Looks like they've done what comes best for English football fans - when it's obvious they can't be snobs, turn on their own.

Have some Liverpool fans (very quiet ones right now I might add) coming in for tonights game. I really hope the trend continues for at least one more game.
