January transfer window...

Re: January transfer window...
He's good but I'm not sure. He's not been brilliant this season from what I've seen but then to be fair I don't watch a whole lot of Birmingham City
Pfffft.

Imagine how lardy a "pack" would have to be in order to be led by Steve Bruce. Unless they were hunting pies.

See I don't mind that. He's versatile, can play right wing, centre mid and right back. For no more than £2m, I'd bring him in.

He's certainly useful but there's a few chasing him and he'll go to whoever offers the best deal and most opportunities to get a start neither of which seems likely to be us.

I dunno, but i don't see the point of signing Seb Larsson. He's just alright. Might aswell get a promising youngster in on loan.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Not sure about Vela - we'd not be able to guarantee him playing time unless we shift Elmander to the right while Lee is away and play Vela and Davies up front. Can't really see it though Elmander has looked decent on that right side when he can pick the ball up facing towards goal more often.
Klasnic missed that chance at Sunderland which was gutting, but whenever he comes on in games he still seems to have more shots on goal than anyone else and looks most likely I reckon...

Re: January transfer window...
It seems pretty obvious we need cover out right, especially since I can't see us buying £5million man Moreno full time. He is a good player, I didn't think he was particularly awesome when everyone was raving about him, nor do I think him particularly shit now. If he'd be happy to start behind Chungy and fight for his place I reckon he'd be a cracking signing. Maybe the lure of the Moo, came through at Arsenal and then Brum together can overcome Mr Potato head.

Larsson that is.
Vela, sign him up. Pace and movement, it's a different option.

Don't forget no-one's chipped the keeper since Djorkaeff at Blackburn that time

I almost said it might give us chance to relive the glory Jimmy Philips days! What a cross, I mean goal, that was.

Vela...very good skillful exciting player. Brings us something different to what we currently have. Hope Wegner says yes...can we guarantee him games..no... Only possibly West Brom and Wolves who are struggling for goals at the moment could do that. It would really be up to Vela himself.
However, there isn't a better club to come to at the moment in terms of making you a better player than at Bolton...Good players, great team vibes and a fantastic manager.
Send him Wenger. You won't regret it....neither would we.

According to reports a number of clubs across Europe are chasing Birmingham City midfielder Sebastian Larsson.
Skysports.com claims Bolton Wanderers are one of several clubs in the hunt for the Sweden international who has yet to agree a new contract at St Andrews.
The former Arsenal player’s current deal is due to expire in the summer and he is now free to talk to foreign clubs and could move on a Bosman free transfer at the end of the season.
It is understood that Wanderers will be battling with Liverpool, Newcastle United, Everton, West Ham, Blackburn Rovers and Sunderland from the Premier League along with Atletico Madrid and Valenica on the continent.
Larsson's former Birmingham boss Steve Bruce is believed to be leading the pack when it comes to the English clubs.

Aye, only one more step to pointless over elaborate tip-tappyness.

Not sure the content is quite as dramatic as the headline would suggest. Coyle asking Cahill to stay till the summer which sounds sensible all round.
Bit at the bottom caught my eye.

I wonder who he has in mind?Coyle is planning to sign a new centre-half in the window, but it will be as an eventual replacement for Cahill.
