Still not got bored of watching the 93-94 and 94-95 season review dvd's I got for Christmas just because of some of the noise and atmosphere from Burnden Park - and on some of the replays from different angles it looked like it went absolutely wild in that open air bit between Great Lever End and the Paddock for pretty much every goal scored!

At my first ever game I went for a wee and came back too scared to actually piss

Re: Old School
We played Swindon in the League Cup a couple of seasons prior to this semi final, including 2 if not 3 replays before finally getting beat. The video jogged my memory of great nights at Burnden and at the County Ground where we took great followings!
Can someone remind me though, before the start of a replay at Burnden, did the Police move the Swindon fans out of the away section of the Paddock and into the Embankment to allow Bolton fans to overspill into the away section? I'm sure this happened! Was it against Swindon?

I still have, and probably always will have the 92 - 93 season down as being my all-time favourite.P.O.S. wrote:Still not got bored of watching the 93-94 and 94-95 season review dvd's

Re: Old School
92-95 was probably the most exciting period in the last couple of decades, certainly since I've been watching. It was like some inexorable destiny unfolding in front of us. We were absolute shit for an age before then, and have spent the majority after it in the top flight.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

That's a great one as well, Im a big fan of the red socks on the home kit we had going on then as well!Bruce Rioja wrote:I still have, and probably always will have the 92 - 93 season down as being my all-time favourite.P.O.S. wrote:Still not got bored of watching the 93-94 and 94-95 season review dvd's
I notice on all these dvds how good our away following was at virtually every game, I bet there were some great experiences following Wanderers at that time. The Hull away game in 92-93 and the cup games and play offs in the following years obviously there were loads of away fans there, but at more obscure games that Ive watched on the dvds there's so many there too! Port Vale, Grimsby, Notts County and places like that, packed terraces behind the nets
