Lofty's Funeral

Post by $huttgun » Wed Jan 19, 2011 11:04 am

As I am sure most of you have seen, details have been released by the family.

It will be a civic ceremony, so let's hope lots of us can get out to pay our respects.

I'll be taking a trip down. Probably won't get near the church due to numbers but they're broadcasting the service over tannoys.

I'd like to go, but I'd feel a bit... Well.. Intrusive.

As it's a Civic ceremony I would have thought as many as possible would be welcomed down there to line the route.

Wish I could be there.

Nice of them to makes it civic, although you can imagine the great man himself saying "Give over, you daft buggers".

I'm going to try to go. If I'm not too hungover from celebrating/drowning sorrows over driving test. Worrying thought. Hope it's an upbeat jobby, as I'm sure it will be.
