Club Motto

Post by Tals-biggest-fan » Sun Mar 13, 2011 5:42 pm

I was just wondering as I couldn't find it anywhere if the club had a motto like Spurs' To Dare Is to Do.... I was thinking about getting something in tattoo form but I don't believe we have one... if not I'll just stick with the motto on the bolton crest 'Supera Moras'

Thanks in advance

town motto rather than a club one, though (as you say)...

Isn't a better translation "overcome difficulties"?
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

We're doomed.

If fatum was an adjective, which it isn't, it would be fati sumus. Agreements dear boy.

Damnati sumus more like it.
In a world that has decided
That it's going to lose its mind
Be more kind, my friends, try to be more kind.

what about "feck 'em"
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".
