If we do get to the final and play Utd, not only will we be in the Europa League next season, win or lose, but we will also be in the Charity Shield, assuming Utd go on to win the league. We could be at Wembley three times in a matter of months!

Wouldn't charity shield place go to league runners up in that scenario?

I always thought the charity shield went to 2nd in the league in that case

"If the Premier League champions also won the FA Cup then the league runners-up provide the opposition."

In that case we'll just have to win the F.A. Cup to ensure that we're in the Charity Shield.

Beating Utd twice at Wembley, now there's a thought...

Unlikely, I would have thought. They are on open sale until the 13th and are available in person at Bolton central this Sunday.

That's what I thought, besides they wouldn't be able to sell returned tickets anyway due to them being in the Bolton end?

I was at Wembley for the Spurs v Portsmouth on a £30 ticket and although there's a fair distance from the action, it feels a bit special due to the great alround view of the whole crowd.

For the final, I was only able to get an £85 ticket through the good offices of a Pompey season ticket holder.

You can get idea of the difference in views here http://roadtowembleyproject.blogspot.co ... chive.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and here http://roadtowembleyproject.blogspot.co ... final.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Looks half empty.

Portsmouth didn't sell all theirs, probably due to them restricting sales to people with a booking history - given that their capacity is 20,000 (including the away end) they'd probably struggle to find 32,000 different people who'd been to a game that season.

Well done.

Unlucky, we paid £5.25

Haven't heard that and I would doubt it would happen We were allowed two tickets per season ticket holder and lifeline members before going on open sale. They are still on sale with, I believe over 80% sold. I don't care why we haven't sold out. I and most of the Bolton fans I know WILL be.

4. looking forward to seeing you at the bear pit
That's by the Globe Theatre on the South Bank. Go there and you'll miss the game.
