Personally I would say yes, to a footballer like N'Zogbia he may see it differently

But....

Isn't he already at Wigan?

He is, I was just saying that to a player like N'Zogbia he may feel he deserves a 'bigger' club than us.

He was quite happy to go to Brum for the right coin.

Indeed he was, but then as I said above N'Zogbia may believe that Brum are a bigger club than us. Personally I don't think they are

Dunn would be one of our 4 best centre midfielders

And Jones/Samba are a better pair than Knight/Wheater

Robinson aint a bad keeper, either, but we probably don't need one of them

Players from potentially relegated teams who I wouldn't be averse to signing:

Blackpool - Adam, Vaughan, Matt Phillips, possibly DJ Campbell
Wolves - Jarvis (unlikely), O'Hara, Fletcher, Hammill, Doyle
Wigan - Cleverley, McCarthy, Watson, N'Zogbia (unlikely), Rodallega
West Ham - Hitzlsperger, Ba, Parker (unlikely), Keane, maybe Obinna and Piquionne
Blackburn - Samba, Phil Jones (unlikely), Santa Cruz, N'Zonzi, Kalinic

To spend up to £10mil of the money we get for Cahill on N'Zogbia or Cole would be bordering on negligence. We have two big earning left wingers under contract, but would need at least one striker and a centre half.

Relegated or not, if we could get a similar level of performance out of David Vaughan as he's shown this season, he'd be a very useful signing for free.

Hmmm. Right, so, let me get this right, you name half of the first team players that are currently playing for clubs that are currently facing relegation as being good enough for us.

A couple of questions here;

Has it not ocurred to as to why they're all staring relegation in the face?

Should we not be setting our sights a little higher?
May the bridges I burn light your way
