Re: Ricardo Gardner
Had you pitched up on Wednesday (Where were you, by the way? Working?) it certainly wouldn't be merely your 'sentimental side' hoping that he might stay.Lord Kangana wrote:My sentimental side would like him to stay.
Anyway, and as I said before, if Coyle didn't have him in his plans for next season then he'd have let him go to Preston.

Re: Ricardo Gardner
He tucked into the left side of central midfield like he was born to play there. Nicking the ball as it moved about and hitting a blue shirt every time. The only bright spot on a very dull evening.CAPSLOCK wrote:Where did he play?

Working.
The early good weather combined with 4312 bank hloidays in one month means I'm mad busy.
I tend to agree, though it may simply be that Preston couldn't afford him, and Coyle needed him for the squad to stagger over the line.
I hope he stays, and I hope its for the right reasons.

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Understood. Shame though, would've been good to catch up with you again.
I don't think that money was the issue with Gardner. As far as I know we just told them that he's not for sale!

Sign him up. Still got the pace, and from what I've heard about his performance on Wednesday and what I saw last season, he's still got the skills. He's a Wanderer now, through and through, and it wouldn't be right without him.
