Jussi was OK, not much to do for any of them. SKD's best game in ages, our man of the match by a MILE. We 'deserved' a point, but that's how it goes when you don't bother defending. Still so fkucing frustrated with shit referees though. So many just wank decisions. Zat Knight is fecking shite. Why will folk not be told! Steinsson gets worse and worse, though there is roughly one good right back in the entire league. Anyone wanting Nicky Hunt back has the rose tintedest of glasses. Worst thing is, after all that, 'lets lose so Blackpool stay up' shit, they aren't going to!

I'd have Adam, Vaughan, and if we are working off Klasnic and SKD next year, then I'd have Campbell, otherwise, no. How the fook did Gary Taylor-Fletcher not get sent off?! I mean apart from just 'being shit'.

That all gone, this doom merchanting stuff is bollocks, I swear there's folk who enjoy it for its own sake. Comparing this year to GM etc. We've got no fecking midfield. I thought that Muamba carrying a knock conspiracy was a load if overanalytical shite mesen, till today. There's no way he went off after 49 mins if he is fully fit. He's either got a knock, or he is bollocksed. Either way, attemting to play with no central midfield, even if they are shite, is hard work, when one has been your stand out player it's mountainous. Again, we lack depth. Again, I'd rather have the small good squad than the Sammy Lee massive bag of wank.

Spot on there Frockers.

As is the rest of the post.

I'd like to see a bit more of that Puncheon bloke - I seem to remember watching him earlier in the season and thinking he was alright.

It looked offside to me, too.
The Holloway loving media were never pick up on it, though.

From MOTD two of their goals came from Gardner mistakes. He looked great going forward but shaky defensively.

I have registered just so I can have a moan, so apologies in advance!

This team of so-called professional footballers have about as much pride as a junkie in a crackhouse. Blackpool away was the last straw for me, too many players who don't give a damn about Bolton Wanderers.

I was embarrassed watching my team yesterday, only one team wanted it and it wasn't us. I don't know how much longer I can call BWFC my team.

Rant over.

Agreed although given his injury lay off I guess it's slightly forgiveable. He's also been thrown in to the deep end of sorts and I dont think many of us, or even the lad himself, would have expected him to play 90 premier league minutes again so quickly. The mistakes he made yesterday were those he might have got away with be it the tired last 15 minutes of a game or at his time at Preston a few month back. However no one can deny Ricardo is a class act and when he's back up to speed will be a tremendous asset, that pass he made for Taylor's goal was top notch.

Great, cheers for that, i'm sure you're presence will be deeply missed next season..

Yesterday we we're just a bit shit. Our main fault was that the defence seriously lacked concentration, but I don't know how you can say a team that overall managed to score 3 and lost by a single goal, away, to a team fighting for their life can be guilty of not giving a damn or having a lack of pride. Especially to the extent where you don't think you can support the team anymore. :conf:

It's more a collective thing over the last few weeks worth of away games. I just feel the players don't give their all, once we go behind I just don't see us winning. We seriously lack some sort of leader on the pitch.

Really? Did you not watch any games under Megson? This has been relatively blissful in comparison
Pfffft.

I guess it comes down to expectations. I expected little from Megson but I expect a lot more from an Owen Coyle team. The highs have been higher under Coyle, but I feel the lows have also been lower.

Both seasons were rather better than watching us play Newport and Halifax in 1987. Maybe pitch your expectations against that and see how they compare...

So what were your expectations at the start of the season then? Champions League place?

We've conceded fewer goals this season than we did last season:

In 2009/2010 we conceded 67
In 2008/2009 we conceded 53
In 2007/2008 we conceded 54
In 2006/2007 we conceded 52

This season we've conceded 54 goals so far. There are eight other teams who've conceded more.

However this season we've scored more goals than any of the other seasons referred to above. So in other words, we're no worse defensively but we're better offensively.

Very high expectations wanting 7th at the beginning of the season. I think we have made good strides this season, but we have also found our weaknesses. Depth is definitely one of them, especially when injuries hit key areas. Will be an interesting summer, but then isn't it always that way for Bolton.
