I didn't/haven't hear this player mentioned before? Maybe Gudni could have a word?

Looks quite good for a young lad, Tall and with a bit of pace! I know YouTube only show the good bits but still. He scored 5 in one game looking at this Video. Might be worth a punt for 3 million.

No to Rodrigo. I like his pace, but he has zero end-product, and we've just got rid of Mandy so we definitely don't need another like that.

Clinical finish vs Wigan.
Pin point cross for Klasnic vs Sunderland in his first game on the left.
Saying he has no end product seems harsh given the limited game time he's had.
Being played out of position on the right didn't help his case.

OK, so two incidents in a year-long loan, despite being involved in twenty odd games? I don't want to be seen to be expecting too much but he's no more (to me) than a left footed Vladimir Weiss

I'd like to see Rodders back, but play him in his natural position. If we started him every game we'd see a massive improvement.
Alonso was a bit flakey at first but once he got a bit more used to it by actually being used he improved. Just my opinion though...

I'd like to see Rodrigo back think he has the ability to become a cracking player, debut season last season to adjust, next season will become more of a regular i reckon. Jerome is a no go i reckon just alot of paper talk, Dave Vaughan is definately someone id like to see in a bolton shirt and on a freeby would be mint. Same goes for DJ, i just cant understand why you would want to gamble on a foreign unknown striker for a few mill when theres an english bloke on a free wages no more than £20,000 a week and scored over 10 goals in prem last year???? Matty mills would be a cracking addition and if we lost cahill great replacement, would work the same as wheater and cahill did when zat was injured, not sure on big zat???? Dont think we will see Sturridge in a bolton shirt again though, he made too much of a name for himself the same way jackky boy did when he was here, Coyles too good with the loan signings in jan transfer window lol

Vaughan and DJ Campbell would help build the squad for not much wage – presumably less than we're paying Petrov, which would become very relevant if he moved to the MLS. That would also give Rodrigo more chance of game time, although I'm not sure the lad has either the defensive discipline to play wide in a 4-4-2 or enough about him to play up front where he'll spend more time with his back to goal rather than running toward it or running on to the ball.

Petrov is no way a top class player, once upon a time maybe but not any more, why put someone out on the pitch if he's only gunna give 60%. remember Stoke semi final where the f**k was he, a big game supposably a big player, boll**ks. We could of got rid of him and doubled elmanders wage just for his work rate alone not his goal scoring pro-ess lol

Nearly right. Recognised forward line as it stands is Klasnic, Davies and Blake.Lofthouse Lower wrote:Yes to Vaughan

An addition of both Campbell and Rodrigo (played in the position he is recognised for as a striker) would improve us no end.
Pfffft.
Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
I hope being an improvement on our current forward line, shouldn't be the criteria of us signing players though. Any striker capable of playing 90 mins would be an improvement on Klasnic, any which can score over 5/6 goals a season would be an improvement on Davies and any with a pulse would be an improvement on Blake.
Rodrigo at £4mil just seems a ridiculous way to use a limited budget. Alonso is an extreme example, but he does show the risks of bringing in players 'for the future', especially when there are fairly sizeable holes in a current squad (which had enough problems to begin with).
Beyond that, didn't Benfica pay £5mil for him last year?

Just come across this:
http://blogs.loughboroughecho.net/goalt ... tates.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;?
Why it should be in that well known football paper " The Loughborough Echo" goodness only knows !!!
Bolton stalwart heading Stateside?
GOALTASTIC is hearing rumblings today - and I must stress these are murmers, not big wobbly tremors at this point - that Bolton could be set to lose their club captain Kevin Davies.
It's rumoured that a number of MLS sides are looking at the possibilty of signing the England striker - with DC United seeming to be frontrunners at this stage.
It would surely be a blow should the Trotters be left Davies-less, after losing the services Johann Elmander and Chelsea loanee Daniel Sturridge - surely that leaves just Ivan Klasnic to lead the Wanderers' line?
