Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
Ciprian Marica, the Rumanian international striker I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, has cancelled his contract with Stuttgart by mutual agreement, so now a free agent. Get him signed, Owen! A gamble, but probably worth taking now no fee involved and could turn out well if he smartens up. The guy is undoubtedly a good player but needs to sort out his attitude.
I suspect he'll probably end up somewhere like Turkey for a big salary and an easy life (per our ex-No.9), but he rejected a big contract with Lok Moscow a few months back as he couldn't imagine settling in Moscow. Perhaps OC could persuade him that the Barclays Premier League is the place to be?

He's a West Ham defender, so it goes without saying that he'd be absolutely terrible.malcd1 wrote:If my memory serves me right, Tomkins is shite.thebish wrote:clubcall wrote:West Ham defender James Tomkins is the latest player to be linked with a move to the Reebok Stadium and Coyle is hopeful of adding new faces to his squad in the near future.

Nile Ranger and Barry Ferguson supposedly both in talks with Blackpool, so hopefully more bullets dodged there! Rumours also surfacing that Tamir Cohen is interesting Blackpool.

Which leaves us free to sign Ciprian Marica, the Rumanian international striker you mentioned a couple of weeks ago

Was one of those rumours - saw it this morning.
I'd be open to selling Taylor but the time has come now to bring in reinforcements first

Re: TKIZ's impossibly brilliant all new Transfer Rumours thr
Seems a bit demoralising if we lose ANOTHER player without so much as a sniff of reinforcements but it would to me be a clear sign that surely, surely, targets are in place and agreements not far off...maybe just a case of needing the finance in place (i.e. from a last player sale) to finish them all off?Lofthouse Lower wrote:Was one of those rumours - saw it this morning.

another one slips through the net...
in America, he'd be called House, right?
who???BRENTFORD will keep tabs on triallist Maison McGeechan following his two-goal blast at Liverpool yesterday.
The former Bolton winger helped the development squad record an impressive 4-4 draw against a Reds second-string in Kirby.
But the Bees won't rush into offering a deal to McGeechan and fellow hopeful Bobby Devyne.
Head of youth development Ose Aibangee said: "Maison's been released by Bolton and is one we're having a look at.
"He's quick and good on the ball and we will monitor his progress.

Maison McGeechan. Former Bolton winger.
Have a look at the youngsters, bish, you'll find an interesting squad with some semi-decent players.
