Quite well. Determined, decent on the ball and tidy. Can't see him being a centre half in the prem though, not really big or strong enough. Think he would need to develop another role, perhaps full back. Quite impressed with him though not sure what you can really take out of these games!t_o_molloy wrote:How did Connolly get on?

According to Marc Iles on twitter ages ago, Coyle sees him as more of a defensive midfielder.BWFC_Insane wrote:Quite well. Determined, decent on the ball and tidy. Could see that but again not sure he is quite ready for us yet. Certainly a proper prospect though on today's showing if it means owt!t_o_molloy wrote:According to Marc Iles on twitter ages ago, Coyle sees him as more of a defensive midfielder.BWFC_Insane wrote:Quite well. Well he is only 19 so he has time on his side yet. Season in the Championship should be a good test of his ability.BWFC_Insane wrote:Could see that but again not sure he is quite ready for us yet. Has a decent pass on him as well, few good cross field balls to the wingers instead of the usual hoof up to a lone kevin davies.t_o_molloy wrote:Well he is only 19 so he has time on his side yet. That's his best attribute from watching him in the reserves. Rolls it out of his feet, pin-point cross field ball to left wing. I really rate him.wanderers_on_tour wrote: Has a decent pass on him as well, few good cross field balls to the wingers instead of the usual hoof up to a lone kevin davies.

Does anyone know what's happening with the friendly that was scheduled for 6th August against York City?

I went to the game with two other Bolton fans and a Bradford fan who lives in Bolton and who's dad is the Bradford mascot! Some wanderers fans took offence to him sitting with the Bolton fans had a right go at him when he clapped a Bradford move, understandable if we were playing United but Bradford! To their credit they came and had a chat with him later and he was VERY quiet during the second half!

Re: Bradford v Bolton
Anyone know where to see the goals from yesterday?? Sounds like our preparation is going well!
Re: Bradford v Bolton
It's not to anyone's credit if something they said during that chat was the reason he was quiet for the rest of the game. I just think that its a shame that people took offence at a Bradford fan sitting in our bit, he is a scruffy little Yorkshire git, but he's ok!
