It's a blow but let's not get too down. We are going to get injuries it's part of football. I'd question the number of friendliest we are playing like but hey it can happen in training. It's happened and at least there is time to do something about it. To be honest we should still prioritise 2 strikers we can't have cover everywhere and Eagles can play right wing. I wouldn't play any first teamers on Monday though, don't take any risks now.

just seen the physio talking bout, seemed to indicate double break around the shin, thats how i interpretted it anyway. fingers crossed there are no tackles 2nd half!

As it is, Eagles is already there as cover - and will now start. You have to think if Coyle brought him in, he figures he can do the job.

It's a huge, huge blow, especially with Holden still out, but the window is still open, and I suspect we'll try and bring in someone on loan to cover Eagles, who will probably automatically be our right winger now.

The concern is still the strike force for me. In my opinion we won't be getting Sturridge back. Watched him play for Chelsea today, and he looked brilliant, just as he did for us. They'd be crazy to let him go again, especially as he looked comfortable on the right side of a front 3.

Terrible news about Lee.....coyle now needs cover for eagles and a striker...hope lee recovers quickly
