Re: Bolton v Blue Moonies
Someone at work asked me about this hate today. I was bemused. I remember it, and remember hoping the massively hyped teen Aguero would come on and we could see him in the flesh. Bit gutted when he got sent off. Afterwards remember thinking, 'spitting? the daft bugger!'. Is that hatred?
As someone else says, with Dioufy in the team pious condemnation would hardly be appropriate.

Pious condemnation comes easy to football fans, regardless of whether it's two-faced. See this thread and others for perception that the tabloids tell lies, followed by an urgent race to repost the tabloids' transfer tittle-tattle.

You've not described football fans there, but the majority of the human race!Dave Sutton's barnet wrote:Pious condemnation comes easy to football fans, regardless of whether it's two-faced. Only real memories I have from the Atletico game were that it was f**kin freezing and I dropped my pie when Dioufy scored!
In fact when Aguero got sent off I vaguely remember thinking 'at least that's one of em down'. It might be unsporting but unless they injure one of our lads in the act I have no problem with any other player getting red carded if it helps guarantee us 3 points![Wink ](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

Your second sentence contradicts your first.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.

Not surprising LL couldn't remember as the shot didn't look like any effort our Muamba would make - it didn't come close to missing the net.midnitefooty wrote:Had a little chuckle at "and someone else."

It was actually a miscued pass, meant for someone at the far post.
