Big plus for them, it being a homer. Anfield's a real cauldron (when they're playing well that is). A good time for a cracking display from Gary C and wouldn't it be wonderful if he banged the winner in? Watching this with a Scouse-supporting neighbour who's never quite forgiven us for that Reina step outside the box free kick decision.

All said, it'll be a tough one and Tuncay could become a big new hero if he has a good game. Going out on a limb and predicting us edging it, with Super John memories in mind. Be very happy with a point though.

Depends how our defence fairs under the pressure, they have good movement up front and a handful in Carrol, plus Downing taking on our full backs (gulp). We'll get chances but a clean sheet would amaze me.
