Think most would agree with that. Now if we could only just convince QPR that Knight was worth signing for anything like what we paid for him and recycle it for Danns or Onouha I'd one be one happy Belly

Agreed. No injuries to Lee and Mears and i think most fans would have been well and truly happy with our business. It's unfortunate the long term injury to Lee but i do think we have dodged a bullet with SWP. Looked like a lot of money to spend on a guy who in reality is only filling in for Chungy till he gets back.

Unfortunately we aren't like a Man City who can cover practically any injury with a top quality player. When 2 stars (Chungy and Holden) of a mid table side go down, there is always going to be a drop off in quality and not much depth.

A winger on loan now and i would be pretty chuffed with Coyle. Espescially if Gaz stays.....and of course confirmation on N'Gog.

Agree. Reo Coker, Tuncay and Pratley are all players I've liked for a long time. We paid no transfer fees for any of them. Gold. We spent nothing and improved our squad. Holden, Lee Chung Yong, Mears are all unlucky. If this was our squad +m Sturridge going into last year we'd be in the Europe places for sure. Unfortunately, Citeh, Liverpool, United and probably Newcastle have all improved a lot more.

1.02pm: David Ngog has been filmed leaving Melwood with a black bin bag slung over his shoulder which Sky's man of the spot says contains "all his worldly possessions". Either he's the least materialistic footballer there is or the bin bag acts like Hermione's handbag.

Anyone heard of Fernando Guerro? Someone seems to think that that was the 'dream target' The Oracle was referring too. He's said no anyway

He's a flop that Coyle signed for Burnley ex Madrid I think who never made it.

Must be a bitter Burnley fan with an axe to grind. They don't like Nixon or Coyle much!

Reo-Coker has displayed all the passing range of Muamba. I've been quite impressed with Eagles but fear he might go missing at 'tin hats' time. I know absolutely nothing in relation to how good Mears and Pratley might be. But very well done on bringng Tuncay in.

Maybe that's all he has left he was probably robbed as soon as the bindippers heard he was leaving.

Few people on a forum I go on arranged a big effort this morning to get Ajax player Sulejmani linked with Arsenal today.

So far loads of them fake 'itk' twitter accounts have caught on (one with like 8,000 followers), plenty of Arsenal fans too.

Surprised no-one has picked up that it's obviously bollocks yet.

Think reo coker is a much better passer of the ball than muamba, not brilliant but you cant get worse than muamba. He breaks up player just as well in all a much better player than muamba! Eagles needs a confidence boast and i think he could be a little star buy, like wise know very little bout mears and Pratley but seen the goal he scored against forrest in semis of play off we may have found the next Beckham hahaha Mears meh not gunna see him till next year, just think we need to finalise Ngog and bring in a winger to push Petrov so he dont get lazy!
