Re: Coyle out?
When have I quoted anything? Merely linked an article for people to peruse, or not. Didn't even offer an opinion on it!Lord Kangana wrote:You would walk out on this club if we signed Tevez, but you'll quote the Daily f*cking Star?
Wonders really will never cease.
Re: Coyle out?
Just got back from holiday to find this thread. I'm not calling for him to go, yet, but based on the recent stats since the Quarter Final against Birmingham on the 12th March one has to considere whether he has what it takes to succeed in the Premiership.
P19 W5 D0 L14 F23 A43 of which
P16 W3 D0 L13 F19 A37 Pts9 have been in the Premiership, and at that rate we will have the lowest end of season total on record 21Pts. Its the lack of draws that's as worrying as the lack of wins as the side just haven't been able to compete over those 16 premiership games, also losing 6 league games at home on the trott is a big worry.
If ANY of our previous managers had that sort of record the fans would have been baying " **** OUT", so why not Coyle??
His Premiership record across Burnley and Bolton hasn't been good, in fact Burnley were well on their way down when he left them. We are already in a worse state as he doesn't seem able to motivate the players, pick the right players in the right formations with the right tactics. As someone else said apart from the second half at QPR we have been very second best in every other game.
Also the" we have played all the top teams as an excuse doesn't hack it either " as many other Clubs have played these same teams and have done a dam sight better against them than we have done, even if they have lost. I also don't see any light at the end of what appears to be a very long dark tunnel, and based on how Wigan are being regularly turned over this season if we can't win next time out I'm sad to say that Coyle doesn't have a future at Bolton.
I hope that we do win and that he does rise above the current problems and move us up the table but I just have no confidence that he is capable of doing that.

Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED

and no one else has played the "top five" in the space of 5-6 weeks..
no one .
probably not ever.
and certainly not when its the beginning of the season and they got all their players fit.
once they start losin' , its hard to stop.
i'll be all doomongery and that. but to not blame the unluckyness of a terrible conspiratorially bad on purpose fixture list on the lack of points is wrong.
they look shite to me, 'easy even for the likes of wigan' -shite, but i hope i'm wrong.
