Re: Wiggin game
ah, but would Liverpool fans pay to watch it. Apparently that's the measure nowadays !!BWFC_Insane wrote:Why?thebish wrote:I'd rather win 1-0 than 5-4...
Same points, same goal difference.
But more goals scored, which can define a league position and a more entertaining game to watch.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

Re: Wiggin game
i think most on here would prefer we drew 0-0 rather than win due to the warped bias a clean sheet has round here.

Re: Wiggin game
It'll be 12-0 to us today, our goal difference will be sorted and we'll be the 4th game on Match Of The Day!!
Re: Wiggin game
nobody has said they would rather draw 0-0 than win. nobody.a1 wrote:i think most on here would prefer we drew 0-0 rather than win due to the warped bias a clean sheet has round here.
I HAVE said I would rather win with a clean sheet because it will offer some hope that the defense has made progress.
why would anyone rather win 5-4??
do you not think our 3 goals a game defensive leak needs sorting? and would not a 1-0 or 2-0 clean sheet win give us more confidence in that department than a 5-4 win??
blimey - this is hard work!!
Re: Wiggin game
The big day is upon us, and have to admit I'm a bit nervous. Can see us winning big, but also wouldn't be shocked if we lost. Must think positive.
Re: Wiggin game
I'd like to know if anyone thinks that the international break has been good for Bolton? It must feel like a brand new season's starting today, with a run of "easier" - let's say more manageable fixtures to come?

Re: Wiggin game
unfortunately can't see anything other than a Wigan win if a team needs to kick start their season who else to play against other than Bolton ? 2 or 3- 0 with Ali playing a blinder Jussi dropping at least one clanger and another needless sending off.

Re: Wiggin game
Wigan fans probably say the same. We are in more desperate need of a kickstart than Wigan!newboy wrote:unfortunately can't see anything other than a Wigan win if a team needs to kick start their season who else to play against other than Bolton ? 2 or 3- 0 with Ali playing a blinder Jussi dropping at least one clanger and another needless sending off.

Re: Wiggin game
Would have played the Moo rather than D-Pratz but I'm happy with that selection.
Re: Wiggin game
Nothing too exciting there but lets see.
Re: Wiggin game
I really hope SKD justifies his selection.

Re: Wiggin game
Rodellega definitely wasn't figuring in today's game, but oh look, he's on the bench. MaCarthy was also doubtful but he starts. Moses the one to watch our for,the other ten are just commandments.

I do wonder if coyle is surrounded with a bunch of yes men to not realise his confidence is in the toilet
