The Perfect Manager
Personally I've got nothing against OC, but having read through some of the threads here, a lot of you do (as a manager).
Sheffield U fans were perfectly happy with Mr. Warnock, true red scousers are delighted to have King Kenny back, Derby fans long for the days when Cloughie ruled the roost, and even the manky Mancs lurve Sralex.
So, the question is, in fantasy land, who would be the Trotters ideal manager?

Sam Allardyce with Owen Coyle's personality.

Arsenal have Arsene Wenger
Man City have Mancini
We should have Wanderly Luxemburgo

I like it: Wanderly of the Wanderers!Gary the Enfield wrote:Arsenal have Arsene Wenger

He could be General Manager, a bit like a Head of State, or a President when you've got Prime Ministers; Hodgson could be Manager of the Defence, with O'Neill as Manager of Attack. Formidable.

You missed out Wolfgang Wolf, formerly of Wolfsburg, and Brian Little who was eminently suited to the Tranmere Rovers job.Gary the Enfield wrote:Arsenal have Arsene Wenger

Re: The Perfect Manager
some say that before appointing Kean, Blackburn were interested in appointing that famous scottish manager, Cletus six-finger McSister... that would have been strangely apt..

Come season end I'm hoping we'll be saying OC is the perfect manager. Hope springs eternal.

Re: The Perfect Manager
OC is our best manager since BSA, with our resources I think he's the best fit at the moment. Any fantasy/good manager would want funds to spend on players so if they came here they'd be disappointed and probably not perform. If we had money I know that Guardiola wants to manage in England, and Mourinho still hasn't won the Champions League with an English side.
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

I think that there Steve Kean could do a good job for us. Mind you, I'm not the full ticket.

I'm pretty sure any Blackburn fan would swap Kean for Coyle
