Our corners no-one forward. Their corners 1 forward with 2 bombing up the wings when they clear. That's why number 2 went in today.

WE have defended so well up to 80 mins but there in lies the problem we've had to defend. We've had no way to get the ball forward in the second half and only really looked like going for it when we had to. The backs to the wall mentality was nice to see from the defenders but when did we make the decision to start having 11 defenders on the pitch as opposed to a seasoned 4-4-2/4-3-3 formation?

We're setting records for home defeats at the minute and its not good. Next up is Stoke City who will arguably start lauding the cup result over us. I hope we end up giving them a right good game and put the memories of Wembley to bed.

Some positives...

Jussi throwing it out more.
Knight replaced by Wheater and Wheater doing well.
Kakuta came on.

Some negatives...

Too many shots from crazy parts of the field...
Therefore, not getting the ball into dangerous positions enough...
Which lead to Sunderland piling forward due to us not looking dangerous.
Too many anonymous players.
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

Can't see anything on the horizon but the Championship. There's no balance to the side & we've got a naive romantic in charge. Last 20 league games do not lie.

Whiich game have you watched ?? Sunderland were miles better than us. desperate defending at times kept the score down to2.
2nd half they dominated. We never looked like winning that match .

Ha ha. You waited until you had the three points safe before coming to post. Typical ballsy Mackem. Now be a good little boy and run off home to your sister, but give us a tune on your banjo first. 8)

We did deserve to lose based on our second half performance. And we've never thought we were a big club.

Plus you think that one win today and that's it, you've stayed up, congratulations, i suppose the next 29 games don't matter then do they?

That would have been quite a feat.

You are typical of the clowns that follow your joke of a club.
