I managed to miss MotD (don't ask, but something to do with Downton Abbey & my current wife).

Anyway, are there any links to the goals ? They weere on YouTube but are now blocked.

I wasn't even going to bother checking if the game was being televised here. However I did and it was. If I hit the right buttons it should be safely stored for viewing later this afternoon. Given that I always know the result before I watch a game this will be a rather special treat.

Mind you, I won't be confident of the same team turning up next game; swallows 'n summers - that sort of feeling. Nevertheless it does raise the hope that Mr Coyle has finally found a decent combination of players and tactics as opposed to having met a somewhat tired and weakened opposition.

An ex colleague of mine used to use the term of endearment "my future ex-wife" under those circumstances.

Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Get on yer smartphone and get the 'ESPN Goals' app.... And if not then now you have an answer as to why you'd want a phone which would do anything other than call and text :D

Anyway mostly relief rather than ecstacy from me on this one today, the battle has begun. Shame we have 2 weeks til the next game but WBA away and Everton at home look a lot better now given their current form also.

Stoke were terrible but the intensity we played at forced them into the mistakes, even more pleasing we looked organised on set pieces, the defence had some protection and Pennant only got in behind Robinson once in the 90, which is an improvement compared to lately!

Riley - Great league debut, really really good, but let's try not to get carried away...
Kevin Davies - On past evidence didn't know he had that in him still, where's he been? Waiting for Upson seemingly.
Muamba - Cemented his place surely.
Colin McGreavy - Had a few pints in Fanzone first?

£1 on 5-0 at 100/1. God bless you Muamba & Tuncay for keeping it that way!
Awesome performance against, as has been said, a very tired Stoke side.
