I'm sure we could wrest Kean from the Dingles with a bit of cash ![Twisted Evil ](./images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif)

We need someone for the long term, otherwise we go through the merry-go-round every other season. Kean is not the answer for us. He is poor and nearly as clueless as Coyle.BWFC_Insane wrote:Watching them againt Sunderland, he certainly has Blackburn far better organised and drilled than our sorry mob are!Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:Kean from Dingles down t'road?Choppers wrote:Kean or Hughes yes please.

Fook Billy Davies, or Bruce, or Roy Keane. It'll be like Megson again and everyone will be whiney bitching at each other. Get someone who'll be positive and try to get us attacking. If we stay up, great, if we go down, feck it, we can start off in the evo-stick, be massive, win every week AND I might actually get to have a do! Wooo. Postive. Mental. Attitude. Emphasis on mental.

Probably couldn't save us though, he had a not-good first season with Melbourne.

Umm... isn't that Coyle? He tries to be positive and tries to have his team play attacking football.Prufrock wrote: Get someone who'll be positive and try to get us attacking.

We need to grind, grind, grind.
Re: Who can save us ??
No, he says he tries to get us attacking. There is not an iota of evidence we (collectively) try anything, they just go out and make it up as they go along. That's what all the pointing is for, coz nobody has a clue what they should be doing. Organisation, absolutely, but there has to be a positive mindset too. None of this 0-0 backs to the wall nick a 1-0 for a whole year. People say we're going down because we have bad players, I disagree, we're going down because they are badly managed. Solid back four, solid central midfield and an idea that when we get it we know how we'll attack, be it balls into the front two and play off them, concentrate on getting the wingers at their fullbacks, or whatever, but I can't take it if it's a fecking Souness coming in parking busses calling everyone a cnut and going down anyway coz we're already miles behind. Might as well go down swinging, get somebody positive who'll be good at rebuilding in the Championship/Evostick, and have a do at a Great Escape, coz miraculous, everybody together all behind the team which itself has some fecking clue what it is meant to be doing is the only way we even have a shot at getting out of this.

Look at the players he has. I suggest we have a better group.
At least you can see what Blackburn were trying to do, even if it was sit back and soak it up.
Would we run Sunderland so close? I'd suggest not in a million years....

Re: Who can save us ??
So lurching from one car crash manager to another is the answer to our problems? We don't have the finances to survive that sort of thing for very long. Short termism will only see us delay disaster at best. Long termism might not save us in the short term but it stands more chance of saving us in the long term. I don't buy into the Premier League is the be all and end all. Sure, I want us to be there, but despite the finances it is unlikely we'll cease to exist by virtue of not being in the PL.CAPSLOCK wrote:BullAbdoulaye's Twin wrote:We need someone for the long term

Re-sign Owen Coyle? Cause that seems to be the appointment your looking for.

Nah I think we need someone for 6 months to see if we can get out of the mess we are in.Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:So lurching from one car crash manager to another is the answer to our problems? Then we can think longer term depending upon what has happened.
It's ok to say a long term appointment is best but finding the right man for the next ten years is nigh on impossible when you are bottom of the premiership and 5 points adrift.

Re: Who can save us ??
Graeme Souness can save us, he is a good coach too. He talks alot of sense when he's doing the champions league and premiership games on sky sports and is well respected in football. That table tennis table would be smashed to piece's if he walked through that door, and that the seriousness of premier league survival is more important than winning 21-8 on table tennis. I'm shocked that coyle is still there we are deep in the shit now that sunderland have won today too, yet gartside and e.davies don't seem arsed ![Confused :conf:](./images/smilies/confused.gif)
