See I'm exactly the same. Christ I thought we should've given Sammy Lee more time and didn't jump on the Megson out bandwaggon until about a month before Gartside did, but this isn't just a tough spell. It's a full on tough magic show.

Same here.

And I'm too concerned about it to even raise a smile at a poor CrazyHorse joke.

Can't believe that Coyle is still with us, also can't believe that he has any support left.

Many of the players may be crap but its obvious that Coyle can't get the best out of them so he has to go before it is too late. Its almost too late now as we are becoming adrift of the rest and if we don't start to pick up points soon it will be too late. So we need a change now, anyone would be better than Coyle as he has proved to be out of his depth and anyone else can't do any worse.
Depression is just a state of mind, supporting Bolton is also a state of mind hence supporting Bolton must be depressing QED

Is this poll really a true reflection of the fans thoughts on Coyle ?

I would suspect that as we stand today it would be at least 60% (maybe even 75%) who would want Coyle out now

Nobody around me in the ground thinks Coyle should still be manager!

It's a real shame, but I think Coyle has proved that unfortunately he's not quite ready for "the big time" yet. Sadly I think he's going to learn a lot of his tactical nouse on the job, with us, in the Championship.

Have a do for Hughes, if not go for Adkins. If not, I'll have a do.

You'd do a better job than what we are seeing now! I'm convinced of that! I don't see how anyone could do any worse.

The gap is widening all the time after Sunderland winning today and over the next two games could see us cut adrift by 7 or 8 points.

He can't even set us up for a tactical draw to add some stability. Since the Stoke semi final twenty odd games ago we haven't drawn one league game.

Get rid and quickly!!!!!

I really how to "read" that report, one is that OC somehow knows his time is up and I think the players know as well and they stop fighting for him or with him to avoid this rut.

Yep, I'm convinced now. No point really adding to what has already been posted by one of the site intellectuals hundreds of miles away.
Abdoulaye's Twin wrote:Up to about 2:30pm today I've been in the give Coyle time camp. We're in danger of the chaos of a new manager every season or so and the common consequence of that has been seen time and again as clubs desperately try to cling on to the PL money.

When I saw the line-up this afternoon I knew we were doomed. Were it not for a fairly poor Villa side, it would have been a complete embarrassment; another to add to this seasons long list. I don't think it matters much which back 4 plays, it is pretty poor however you try and shuffle that lot around. Even up front I can stomach KD and Klasnic. Not my choice mind. The choice of midfield was a complete joke. Eagles on either side I was ok with. Lets face it, who else can we play? Mavies in the middle is fine, even if he isn't cutting it still. But Pratley? Pratley is poor enough, but with Mavies it is a disaster. We absolutely needed Muamba today. You can't play 2 lightweight players in the middle and get away with it. My other major problem is Tuncay. I wouldn't have a problem with him playing off the striker(s), but he is not a winger and never will be. We already know this, so why? It is the same as playing Wheater at RB. It is a disaster.

Coyle is consistently chopping and changing the 11. But to keep playing people in their weak positions is unforgiveable. For this reason he has to go. All this team needs is some shape, some hunger and a little bottle. Any manager that instills this in our team will get us equivalent of mid table over a season.

Whoever comes in next has to do the basics right and we need to build on that for years to come. Otherwise we're down and staying down.

How about we recruit some 'help' for Coyle if were not gonna sack him?

Get somebody in who might have the answer to keep us up, show coyle a few tricks, then let the long term man start a fresh in August?

Coyle won't have that though.. Undermining him, is practically sacking him.

Maybe he wouldn't.
Don't have to give him the choice though.

He's not in a position to be too fussy is he?
