missing Big sam

Post by mrpiccollo » Sun Dec 11, 2011 4:53 pm

watching stoke vs totenham and its reminding me of all the times bolton used to be the team nobody wanted to play, oh and we could actually win a game every once in a while:(

what i wouldent give to have big sam come back with a 20mil+ budget to rebuild

seems were doomed to bad squad choices and average performances for the rest of the season though (doesent coyle get it we need our strongest team out not a below average passing team with holes everywhere!! better we just longball it all match than carry on losing and go down)

honestly feel we really need a big signing in january and by big i mean

get anelka before he signs for that chinese team

loan some starlet thats out of contention for first team maybye too (hate hanging our survival on the shoulders of a 21 year old that has no interest in our club whatsoever but)

If you can pass us £175'000 a week to sign Anelka that would really help. I'm sure its not for the lack of wanting Anelka that we've not made an attempt to resign him.

When he's been offered a 20 mil contract? Think that's a no.

I miss Big Sam too, I've missed him more days than not since he left, but even if we could afford him, a 33 year old striker is not really the answer at this point for a team with a goal difference of minus 15.

I'd give my left leg to see Sam back.

Neigh. I'd give both legs

It might be prudent to give it to Robinson in the short term.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

I miss Allardyce, have done since the day he left. Seeing him managing in the division below is ridiculous. I'm never ruling out him returning some day to be honest.

What we need right now is someone like the Kevin Nolan of 2005/06. Getting stuck in making sure everyone else wasn't been a lazy bastard and doing the same thing.

You should have seen the way this board treated Nolan in 05/06, or any year for that matter. The general feeling was that he had a good first half and that he was found out as fat, useless, and not premier league standard.

I'm pinching that.
