Post by aldo1996 » Mon Dec 26, 2011 8:24 pm

Hi

I am a collector of Oxford United programmes.

I'm looking for the following programme : -

31/01/1976 - Bolton v Oxford - League Div 2 (Match Postponed)

If anyone has a copy they would be willing to sell then please let me know.

Many Thanks

Richard

Would depend on condition of programme but probably somewhere in the region of £10-£15

Aldo ? Aldo !!

A John Aldrigde admirer ?

Well, I have several copies of the programme & they're going on the barbie rather than have an Aldridge fan happy.

Nowt personal.

Unfortunately I'm too young to have seen John Aldridge play for Oxford, the aldo bit is for Martin Aldridge who played for Oxford in the mid nineties and to me was a big part of Oxford get promoted in 95. Unfortunately he was killed in a car crash in 2000 aged just 25.

Then I apologise and will go & see if any survived the inferno.

Though the first word .... where you gratuitously used "unfortunately" .... doesn't make me want to rush out there.

It would be very Rare!

Got excited then, but this is obviously the actual match.
I was going to commence a bidding war!

just had a quick look, got the one for the rearranged match in March but not the 1 for the original match so it might be quite rare.
Who's that coming up the hill boys,
The Wanderers are coming up the hill boys,
They all laugh at us, they all mock at us,
They all say our days are numbered,

Born to be a Wanderer, victorious are we....
