Not a surprise for me Ricky doesn't deserve to be in the 25, it is end of an era but what a player he has been for this club.

Odd cos tope is included. And he is truly awful by all accounts. How old is Lainton as well? I thought sub 21?

Are we going to see Sean Davis??

Gardner must be absolutely crocked cos their is surely no way he'd name Obadeyi ahead of him who by all accounts he's never used and is probably no where near Premiership quality. We have 26 players over the age and if he has actually chosen Obdaeyi over Ricky G on merit then it's a stupid move. Ricky G when fit can do a job as back up. Temitope can't...

That really is sad news. Great player for Bolton for a long time.

Injured (again) at the moment, in what must have been his swan-song season. So his Bolton playing career will have ended with a harsh sending off at Swansea.

He was in the crowd last Saturday & looking quite happy.

I hope we get some chance to wave him goodbye. Who knows, maybe he's on the way to learning to be a coach. Alternatively he may be about to be a very rich Jamaican & breeze through the left of his life. Bummer !!

why wouldn't he be!! he's being paid a king's ransom every week for 6 appearances this season and a total of 5 (for us) and 4 (for PNE) last season and only 26 appearances the previous season...

great player for us over the years - but he's been robbing a living recently!!

It must be tough to see your career slowly wind down at the club that you've served so well over the past 10 years or so only cushioned by the fact you've probably earned about £8 to £10m gross over the same period, farewell Ricky! No doubt he'll be spending his squillions down Montego Bay before long

Not his fault though and a shame because he's looked useful in that handful of games. If anything the club should have done a better job of assessing his injury situation. It does feel like the end of an era,Jussi,KD and Gardner have been at the heart of the best period the club has had in my lifetime.

Robbing a living? Not like he's been sat on his arse! He'll have done more 'work' than the rest of them over the last two years!

He must be injured for the season to be left out because there's no way he'd be left out and someone like Obadeyi kept in.

As for Sean Davis, does he even exist? I'd love to know how much we've paid him for having an injury. They should have stuck him on the pie stall, at least start working a bit for his money.

Sean davis is probably the only player on our books capable of doing the sort of job Muamba and NRC do so if either get injured I hope he is fit enough to play.
