One from a Watford forum( I beleive)

You are my Sordell
My Marvin Sordell
You make me happy
When skies are grey
So feck your Rooney
He's the new Mooney
Please don't take my Marvin away

Find a word to replace Mooney and still rhyme with Rooney and we've got a winner!

we often forget that we're an established EPL side and apart from the stalwarts there can't be many that have been in the top flight for more seasons than us

Indeed. Arsenal, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur have been there throughout the Premier era. Us, Blackburn and Fulham are next 'oldest'.

A footballerer, aged 20, lives with his mum, trains in the mornings & "rests" in the afternoons and has his shopping delivered ???

Idle sod.
Not advocating mass-murder as an entirely positive experience, of course, but it had its moments.
"I understand you are a very good footballer" ... "I try".

I spoke to anther Watford fan today, a ST holder if that cuts any mustard, who says he's their best player since Ashley Young. Rates him very highly, says we got a steal for the money.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

Good read that. Like this bit..
Sordell has been adapted to lots of different roles, so is still finding out how best to use his qualities, like a wizard searching for the best potion. As such, he experiments a lot, with mixed effects. This is something that can frustrate and excite in equal measures, and means he could be more effective as an impact player for the short-term.

Impact player. Let N'gog do his thang for 75 mins then Marv comes on for a quarter hour hat-trick. :D

We'll probably adapt him to playing left back.

Independent piece: Jamie's a good lad but I'm surprised the Indy are publishing his words unsubbed. At least, I assume no competent sub-editor would ignore the dozen or so grammatical errors in that piece. Interesting content, though...

Oooh, it's like spot the difference. You including commas and hyphens?

:D It may be more dozens than a dozen. There's a clanger right at the top but right through the piece there's that staple of the not-quite-writer, the dangling modifier.

Poor lad making his debut in that mess. Looked decent...well as decent as you can do in ten minutes.
