It seems ok on here but I'm baffled by some people who post in depth analysis on games after watching it on the internet...
What a hero, What a man...... Ooooh, what a bad foul...

I'm often quite glad of the enlightenment that folk that've had a chance to watch stuff a time or two can offer.

Are you suggesting that they broadcast a different game on the interweb? :conf:
May the bridges I burn light your way

I would imagine the majority of professional analysis is done from footage as opposed to live.
They're dirty, they're filthy, they're never gonna last.
Poor man last, rich man first.

You were so close.
You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

I'm baffled by your bafflement...

horses for courses..

If I wanted to know if a penalty should have been awarded or if the ball crossed the line - then I would trust the analysis of someone who had watched on the internet (with the benefit of slo-mo replays) over the bloke next to me at the game who had seen a crush of bodies in a goalmouth 80yds away in real-time and only once..

if I wanted a view about how Knight played across a whole game - the bloke next to me wins every time over the internet watcher - cos he can see off-the ball action as well as where the camera deigns to take the internet stream...

there - simple!

Watching games live, can give you an entirely different perspective to someone who watches online or TV.

Its easy live to get swept along with a crowd criticising the ref for decision after decision where the guy watching at home, doesn't feel it is as unfair, seeing every decision in its isolation.....
