Pigs into the Lions' Den: Trotters @ Millwall, 18th Feb

Post by Verbal » Mon Feb 13, 2012 2:30 pm

When the shock dies down from my surprising attempt at NFL-style fixture listings, I think it's probably best to turn our attention to the weekend.

So then, struggling Championship side. Priorities probably elsewhere. Good chance for ourselves to get a much-needed win, and take a big leap towards W...We...Wem....that London stadium.

Obviously we don't need the distraction of another competition when we are fighting FOR OUR PREMIERSHIP LIFE. But I'd like to win games. Winning is nice. Doesn't everyone enjoy winning once in a while?

Got my ticket. I'm nervous. I want us to win, but got a horrible feeling they are going to turn us over. Cos we're shite. Eek.

Who else is going? Fancy a pint? Mine's a cider. Cheers.

My suggested line-up:

-----------Bogdan--------------

Steiner---Knight---Ream----Ricketts

MUAMBA--NRC

Eagles------Mavis---------Miyachi (assuming the lad is eligible)
------------Wash-----------

Thoughts, predictions, signatures for the Muamba petition, etc...

Funny as it may seem....i'd rest Muamba in the cup, he's clearly too important to risk in anything but league games :D

The lad they've got called Trotter is nailed on to score, so we'll need at least two. I like the idea of another trip to Wembley though, so I'd be content with a replay.

Anyway, team.....

You appear to have put Darren Pratley in a starting XI.

Please vacate the internet.

There's a week either side. Play the best team possible, in the best formation, which is clearly not 4-4-2.

As I say in every round, Coyle always plays a pretty strong team in the cups - thats why Im still convinced we're Wembley bound again which fills me with dread.

Ill be there, 10.35 train then through to London Bridge for around an hour's drinking time I really enjoyed it in The Southwark Tavern last time I was down that way but apparently The Shipwright Arms is reccomended for fans of away teams down there - anyone been in?

but he's got muamba in the first xi , so that at least puts him in front of coyle when it comes to managing bolton wanderers.
