He's obviously got talent, we'll see whether or not he can use it. Piss poor effort on the posts. Hopefully it's something he has never done before, and hopefully they'll have a quick word and sort it, easily done (I'm hoping, but not hopeful on the second point, set-pieces are dirty).

Three games, one shot and one cut back to Klasnic against Wigan, one goal against Millwall, our best effort of the day against Chelsea. It isn't like he is hiding. We'll see, but I think it's harsh to make him out as an ineffective child.

I mentioned earlier in the thread that my jury's out as to the lad's ability to ultimately contribute. But anyway. Coyle has said in these forum things that I've been to that we'll pull all 11 players into the box (so we have a numerical advantage of two but still concede to unchallenged headers) have defenders on either post and have our two fastest players on the edge of the box. We had Miyachi on the (outside of the) far post at weekend?! :conf:

What a bunch of negative pricks some of you are. Seems to me that you forget everything you have learnt after a week - his record at Feyenoord speaks for itself but according to certain posters a player can be the best thing since sliced bread one week and the next he is complete crap. There is only one player who is consistently crap and his initials are DP.

It's nice to see a quick two footed player who can control the ball. Apart fromthe posts thing I've been impressed with his workrate and the defensive side of his game. I'm sure his final ball will improve with experience and the opportunnity to play in a team where players arent scared of receiving the ball or finding space to attack a cross

By the way, I remember Miyaichi took at least several corners for us(at least one corner against Chelsea last week too).
I think clubs don't usually let inexperienced teenagers take corner & free kicks. I've watched a lot of his videos on Youtube and I noticed that Feyenoord also let him take corner & free kicks. Why did we make him take corners?. I rate him highly but he doesn't look like a specialist of corner & free kicks to me(I haven't watched enough number of his corner & free kicks yet though).

Impressive, if considering these are first 4 professional games for him.

I've read comments on those videos, and it seems Gooners rate him "Inexperienced, still raw and need to learn before playing for the first team of Arsenal, but very promising, at least almost as fast as walcott and much more skillful than Walcott"

Official Website: Ryo Miyaichi has been crowned as the club's Player of the Month for February.

It seems Feb is Miyaichi's favorite month, he was voted as the player of Eredivisie last Feb too.

Ryo Miyaichi has just been voted the player of the month of February by the most popular Dutch football website voetbalzone.nl. Ryo, who's on loan at Feyenoord, has had an impressive debut in professional football, having just played high school football previously. His coach are raving about him, defenders are scared to face him and his teammates and fans love him.

I hope he can help us in March, April and May too.

What a load of fecking horse shit that is. It cannot be correct. What's he had ... 1.5 games ?

I vote for Tuncay ..... ah, same problem.
