Interesting,it was charlton that the mirror claimed had pipped us earlier.Maybe a rare example of being further north working in our favour.

Does anyone have any idea about how good this guy is. I'm always sceptical about the long list of clubs that have been persuing a player (its usually agent bullshit) but that is a long list.
Anyone? You know, actual knowledge, not a reckon?

You can judge the whole world on the sparkle that you think it lacks.
Yes, you can stare into the abyss, but it's staring right back.

8 pages in to a transfer thread and we've signed someone? Is that a record?
I reckon he'll be a good signing.

I follow Rangers ( no surprise where im from ) but yea he's decent, he's young, quick, good dribbler and decent crosser. However im not sure that he is a player that can help us in a relegation battle, he's more of a one for the future but sure we won't know until he plays

O'Halloran to the Sheffield team it's ok not to dislike on loan for the rest of the season http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17479970" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
The players you fail to sign never lose you any money.

Another Burnley raid??
It is now almost inevitable with Eddie Howe preparing Clarets fans for the worst that Jay Rodriguez could be leaving in the summer.
Jay Rod currently injured with a 'wear and tear' hip and groin problem may already have played his last game for the Clarets unless he can feature in the six games of the season remaining.
Eddie Howe recently said:
'I'm sure there will be clubs looking at him so we'll wait and see on that one,' said Howe. 'I'm sure it will be difficult to keep hold of him, but we would love to.
Any Premier League team that watches our games and does their homework will see what a season he's had.
They'll look at his age, his goalscoring record and all of the attributes that he's got.'
Clarets fans are probably resigned to losing him but they won't be happy with news today that Owen Coyle is interested in bringing him to the Reebok for next season.
It is understood that Coyle is eyeing the Clarets marksman along with rival Everton gaffer David Moyes.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed Brazilian defender Fabio will go out on loan next season.
Although he featured in the Red Devils' Champions League final defeat to Barcelona last season, Fabio has failed to progress as expected. A succession of niggling injuries have not helped and, ahead of Sunday's Premier League encounter with Aston Villa, Fabio had made just 15 appearances in all competitions this term.
Ferguson said: "Fabio will go on loan next season to give him concentrated first-team experience," Ferguson told United Review.
Would we go for him ? Would he be accepted by fans ?
