Arsenal supporter here, wanted to sign on and show my thoughts are with Muamba and his family at this time. :( I really hope he manages to pull though this, no one deserves to go like that. Your club has a great player in him, wish he could have turned out more in the red and white. But he is a credit to your club. Respect here.

Full respect to Webb for calling the game off and the applause shown by both sets of fans too.

6.51pm ESPN have ended their coverage. Rebecca Lowe, John Barnes and Kevin Keegan did their job admirably in impossible circumstances, but ultimately there is nothing they can say. Everyone is just waiting to hear whether attempts to resuscitate Muamba have been successful.
Despite calling him Patrick...

Personally the last thing this disastrous was Marco Simoncelli losing his life late last year...

Let's hope the news is good news when I wake up tomorrow morning. :|

6.56pm Bolton have released a short formal statement to confirm the horrific events of the past hour.

Bolton Wanderers can confirm that Fabrice Muamba has been taken to hospital following his collapse at White Hart Lane this evening during the FA Cup quarter-final.

There is no further information at this stage.

If his brain has been starved of oxygen for that many minutes, he'll have a job just to walk.

Completely shocked, feel sick to the core and keeping everything crossed he pulls through.

Just thought I'd pop in and leave a bit of support for the lad, can't believe what has happened, here is hoping you pull through mate, too young to go yet. Thoughts are with Fabrice, the Bolton fans, and his friends and family.

Leicester fan in peace, or rather pieces.

Truly shocking news to hear, for someone so young and so talented.

I speak on behalf of all Leicester fans when I say, pray for Muamba.

This story has shook me to the core, tragic news.
