Re: Fabrice Muamba
This has all been a bit surreal, feels like a movie....real madrid players wearing his name on their shorts, united & wolves players having a minute's applause, all the twitter messages from players, celebrities, im half expecting an address from the queen next...all very surreal and i guess it's a measure of the man himself and the clearly disturbed players' reactions which has captured everyone's hearts.

Re: Fabrice Muamba
Abbey, a long standing poster on Blackburn Rovers forum BRFCS, has posted a link on the Denver Broncos overseas site. It's another one of his passions. He's asked me to share it with you all along with his hopes of a successful recovery for Fab.
Here is the link: http://www.overseasorangearmy.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Thanks Abbey!

Benoit Assou-Ekotto:-
I have seen messages from people from the very far corners of the world all wishing Fabrice well. I have seen people who care very little for football talk about Fabrice. This is the true beauty and power of football. It connects people in a way that is hard to describe. It is this that I feel is the magic of the moment. I pray Fabrice recovers fully to see the magic that he is a part of. He must recover so I can thank him for reminding us that we must always be prepared to put things into perspective.
Nobody argued when the referee called off the game. The life of Fabrice was more important. It didn’t and doesn’t matter if he is tall, short, young, old, black, white, good or bad. All that matters is that we all simply see the human in him.
Through a very challenging and scary episode Fabrice has connected us as a football family and he is further connecting us as human beings. His pain and that of his family and loved ones could be a blessing but the true blessing would be if he told the story himself when he walks out of hospital.

Re: Fabrice Muamba
Well said Benoit. I think that represents the feelings of the majority of us.
Still have my fingers crossed & am praying for Fabrice to make a good (or hopefully full) recovery.
I am sure Spurs fans will show their support for him on Wednesday. I certainly will be.

I don't want to start any blasphemous rumours but i think that God's got a sick sense of humour and when i die i expect to find him laughing

Re: Fabrice Muamba
Not often footballers get the chance to be articulate and express themselves beyond 140 characters, and Assou Ekotu has done everyone proud there.
Re: Fabrice Muamba
I've been in Germany and only found out about the situation yesterday; I've had a lump in my throat since. I've nothing to say right now (how desperately lacking words can be) except that I'm thinking of Fabrice and hoping desperately for some good news.
C'mon, Fab.
C'mon, Fab.
Re: Fabrice Muamba
Wondered if we could get a get well soon message on the front page, fellas?
C'mon Fab.

Apparently hospital say he is showing small signs of improvement and moving his arms and legs.
Keep going fabrice.

Re: Fabrice Muamba

Great news. One step at a time though. Small victory in a battle that isn't over.
C'mon fab.
