I'm over the moon that he's speaking again.

But still a way to go yet, son.

Keep believing, Fab!

I play 6 a side on Monday nights. We normally wear red, but tonight we are all wearing the white of Bolton Wanderers and all 6 of us have "Pray 4 Muamba" on the shirt. It's the least we could do to show our support.
Well done SL :oyea:

Whilst it is only a small thing absolutely brilliant news that Fabrice is showing signs of improvement?

We are at home tomorrow night v Watford and will try and arrange a minutes applause for the 41st minute to show our support to both Fabrice and all at Bolton.

Our thoughts and prayers at Ashton Gate are very much with you all. I have also been asked to pass on the best wishes from our friends in the New York Bristol City supporters club.

Keep in there Fabrice and all at Bolton - We are proud of you.

Great, great news....a long way to go, but a small step in the right direction.

Just in total awe of the medical staff involved with this....shows what can be done if the right action is taken at the right time.

Also saying he is recognising the people around him including people like ashley cole and SWP who have been visiting. Lets hope that this is a sign his brain wasn't to badly damaged in the time his heart stopped.

Come on Moo! keep fighting lad!

Arsene Wenger on Arsenal.com...
Arsène Wenger has paid tribute to Fabrice Muamba following the Bolton midfielder's collapse during Saturday's FA Cup tie at Tottenham.

The Arsenal manager said: "This is of course a massive shock to us all and we just hope that Fabrice will pull through safely. You pray that the damage will be repaired and that Fabrice will come out healthy and we will see his smile again. That is all you wish for.

"As a man, Fabrice has a positive attitude towards life, he is full of determination and has a great desire. Everyone at Arsenal has huge respect for Fabrice. Even after he left us, he often passed by to say hello and speak about how it was going for him. We feel very deeply attached to him.

"He is what you would call a committed player. His hunger and determination was so big. When he was younger, he had massive players in front of him at Arsenal, but I felt he had reached the level to play in the Premier League, so we let him go and he has proved his quality.

"A football player always remains attached to where he was educated. Fabrice had his friends from childhood here and they remain your friends forever.

“We are all thinking of Fabrice, his family and everyone close to him.”

I have heard it mentioned on both BBC News and Sky News but there was supposed to be a statement at 7pm. I can't find an official statement yet.
