Darren Pratley - Jamaica

Post by JamaicanTrotter » Wed Mar 28, 2012 5:31 am

Hello Everyone, I am new to the forum. My name is Simon Preston. I am a football Analyst here in Jamaica. After speaking with the Jamaican FA, they told me Darren Pratley has started the paperwork for his Jamaican passport for World Cup Qualifiers.

Could you all tell me the extent of his injury? It is 3 weeks ? 4 weeks?

Would Really love your help

Thanks Again

The commentary I was listening to said he had a cut but I know nothing else.

He's out for at least 10 days, possibly 6 weeks according to Coyle.

Thought it a bit unusual, you don't put a splint on a cut, must be more to it. Looked to me like he had popped his knee.

I thought he'd popped his knee out too, and that's what they seemed to be gesturing, but you'd be in more pain, than he seemingly was...

It is a cut. Splint probably just a precaution as they wouldn't know how deep it was.

Let's hope it's nothing too minor.

And if it is who do we now have left to play in centre midfield?
For me Pratley has improved significantly over the last few weeks as he's become more established. Granted he's no miracle worker but with Fab out this is an injury we could well do without.
I feel reborn !!!! No more confussion

Aye.
I mean we have after all, got literally dozens of replacements fit and able and ready to take his place in the squad.

He's a goal threat, and a body we need in midfield since we've clearly no other real viable option as the Wolves thread shows...so im not cock-a-hoop that he's injured to be honest.

who'd have thought a few weeks ago we'd be suggesting 4-4-2 and desperate for Pratley! 8)

I hope you're joking....

He's done ok past few weeks. Certainly better than any other alternative we have available at the moment!!!

We'll be weaker without him, given we've nobody else.

And we still shouldn't revert to 4-4-2. Mark Davies and NRC are simply not strong enough to carry that system off!

The lad will be a miss.
